What Ondakit stores about you, and who can see it.
Last updated: 26 August 2026
When you sign in, your authentication provider (Google or Discord) gives us your email address, a display name and a profile picture. We store those, plus a username you choose.
When you use the cloud, we store the patches you save, including their contents, names, descriptions and tags, along with when you saved them and whether they are public.
When you take part, we store your likes, your comments, who you follow, and which patches were remixed from which.
We do not use advertising, sell your data, or share it with anyone except the service providers that run the site (our hosting and database provider) and where the law requires it.
1. Publishing cannot be undone. A published patch is snapshotted, and the snapshot survives deletion of the patch. See Terms §4.
2. Your username outlives your account in other people's remix histories. See Terms §5. There is no self-service deletion; write to info@ondakit.com.
3. A report stores what you said about somebody else. If you report a patch or a comment, we store who you are, what you reported, the reason you picked and any detail you wrote. We can read it. The person you reported cannot. They are not told who reported them, or that a report exists. We keep reports so we can act on them and see repeat patterns.
4. Other people are told when you act on their work. Liking, commenting on, following, or remixing somebody's work sends them a notification with your username on it. There is no anonymous way to do these things.
One exception, in the other direction: if we hide your patch or your comment, or put it back, you are told it happened, but not which of us did it.
Ondakit stores a sign-in token in your browser so you stay signed in, and keeps your working canvas on your own machine so you do not lose it. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Depending on where you live you may have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Write to info@ondakit.com and we will do what we can, subject to the two limits above. Those limits are properties of how the site records credit, not choices we make case by case.
You need an account to use Ondakit, so the age floor applies to the whole site. You must be at least 13 to create an account, or older if the law where you live says so. In several EU countries that is 16.
The floor is there because of what an account does, not because of what the builder does. An account stores your email address, shows your username and picture publicly, and lets other people comment on what you publish. The builder itself collects nothing: your canvas, the C++ it generates and the flashing all happen in your own browser.
If we change this notice in a way that matters, we will say so on the site.
