Oscillator
SourcesoscillatorLight CPU
Periodic waveform source — Sine, Saw, Square, Triangle.
What it does
A configurable periodic waveform generator.
Wraps daisysp::Oscillator. Waveform shape (Sine / Saw / Square / etc.) is baked at init; pitch and amplitude can be modulated at audio rate.
Parameters

Waveform
waveformThe shape the oscillator repeats, and the single biggest influence on its character. Sine is one pure tone with no harmonics — clean, and the only shape that costs a
sinfper sample. Triangle adds a few quiet odd harmonics: hollow, flute-like. Saw has every harmonic and is the bright, buzzy starting point for most subtractive patches. Square has odd harmonics only and reads hollow and reedy. Baked at boot — wire the Freq and Amp ports if you need something that moves.
Pitch and level are ports, not fields: an unwired Oscillator runs at 440 Hz and 0.5 amplitude. Wire Freq (Hz) and Amp to make it play. Saw and Square are the naive DaisySP shapes, so they will alias on very high notes.
