Low-frequency oscillator for slow modulation. Sub-audio rate.
What it does
Low-frequency oscillator for parameter modulation.
A sub-audio-rate daisysp::Oscillator. Typically 0.1–20 Hz. Output drives other modules' modulation inputs.
Parameters
-
Rate (Hz)
frequencyCycles per second. 2 Hz is a clear wobble, below ~0.2 Hz is a slow drift, and past ~20 Hz you stop hearing motion and start hearing sidebands.
-
Depth
amplitudePeak of the sine, which swings both ways around zero: the output runs from −Depth to +Depth. The 0.2 default is deliberately shallow for modulating a parameter — raise it toward 1.0 when driving an LED or anything else that only reacts above 0.5, or it can never turn on.
Rate and Depth accept Mod sources. Depth defaults to 0.2 — raise it toward 1.0 when driving an LED or any sink that thresholds at 0.5, or it can never turn on.
