Detuned dual-voice shimmer. Mono in → stereo out.

What it does

Stereo detuned chorus.

Wraps daisysp::Chorus. Mono input is processed once per sample; the two stereo voices are read back via GetLeft()/GetRight(). Rate (Hz), Depth and Feedback are audio-rate.

  • Rate (Hz)

    How quickly the detuning wavers, in Hz. Slow settings under a Hz give the gentle drift of a well-tuned ensemble; a few Hz becomes an audible vibrato-like warble. Because the two stereo voices move independently, this also affects how wide and animated the stereo image feels. Per-sample, so the port can be modulated.

  • Depth

    depth
    Default 0.5Range 0 … 1

    How far the pitch is pushed away from the original by the modulated delay, which is the amount of detune. Small values thicken the sound while leaving the pitch believable; large values wobble it far enough to sound seasick, which is either the effect you wanted or a warning that it is too high. At 0 there is no movement and the voices simply thicken the signal slightly.

  • Feedback

    feedback
    Default 0.2Range 0 … 1

    How much of the delayed signal is returned to the delay lines. A little adds resonance and body, pushing the effect from chorus towards flanger territory as the comb notches sharpen. High settings ring and can become metallic — useful deliberately, distracting by accident. Per-sample, so it can be modulated.

Detuned dual-delay chorus (80s shimmer). One audio input, two audio outputs (L/R). Rate/Depth/Feedback are per-sample (modulatable).
